NPRR #363 · Revision Request
NPRR363 Revision to EEA Level 2B ERCOT Requirements During the EILS VDI
ReasonCurrently when issuing an EEA Level 2B VDI, ERCOT requests Market Participants to "curtail Load consistent with their commitments", and Market Participants not committed for all EILS Time Periods are required to consider the current Operating Hour and refer to the EILS Time Period definitions before choosing whether or not to respond. Additional verbiage from ERCOT during the EILS deployment VDI referencing the current EILS Time Period would eliminate any ambiguity in the instructions based on the current time, and improve response times for Market Participants that are not contracted for all EILS Time Periods.
