NPRR #480 · Revision Request
NPRR480 Removal of Language for Relaxing Transmission Constraints
- PRS Oct 18 '12
- TAC Nov 1 '12
- BOARD Dec 11 '12
- PUCT —
ReasonThe language in paragraph (3) of Section 6.5.9.1 is inconsistent with Attachment 1-EOP-002-2.1, Energy Emergency Alerts, of NERC Standard EOP-002-3, Capacity and Energy Emergencies, which outlines the appropriate actions ERCOT should take in each level of an Energy Emergency Alert (EEA). The NERC Reliability Standards do not allow ERCOT to relax Operating Limits during an Emergency Condition.
