NPRR1345  Extend NPRR1279 Sunset Date for Exceptional Fuel Cost Process

This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) extends the sunset date established by NPRR1279, Reinstate Enhancements to the Exceptional Fuel Cost Process, from April 1, 2027 to April 1, 2030. The extension preserves the existing review and validation framework for Exceptional Fuel Cost submissions, including supporting documentation and fuel supply contracts submitted under the Exceptional Fuel Cost process, and provides additional time for ERCOT and stakeholders to evaluate long-term enhancements to the treatment of contractual fuel costs while maintaining an existing and operational process that has been actively used since implementation of NPRR1279.
