NPRR1017  Management of Congestion Revenue Rights (CRRs) and Resource Node Removals

This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) modifies the procedure for removal of Resource Nodes, whether due to Point of Interconnection (POI) changes, retirement of Resources, name changes, etc. and will allow Market Participants time to either move their hedge or exit their position over a six-month notice period by submitting bids and/or offers in subsequent auction(s). When the six-month notice period is concluded, ERCOT will initiate the removal of the Resource Node in question. If any Congestion Revenue Rights (CRRs) still exist at that Resource Node, they will be adjusted to a source/sink nearby.
