NPRR045 Wind Power Forecasting
ReasonDiscussions in the TPTF pursuant to development of the Requirements document for wind-power forecasting made it clear that there was a disagreement on how to produce the 80% confidence level forecast for each individual wind-power resource. Discussion resulted in general agreement that a "top down" approach had merit, pending the development and review of detailed protocol changes.
